Steve Sellers has over 20 years of experience in the for-profit, non-profit and governmental sectors, with over 12 years spent starting and building companies. Prior to co-founding SourceTrace he worked as the COO at TransFair USA, the sole certifier of Fair Trade products in the US. During his four-and-a-half years there, the organization grew ten-fold in revenue and quadrupled in staffing. Prior to joining TransFair he worked as Vice President for Business Affairs for eUniverse, an online entertainment network (NASD:EUNI; later Intermix Media, AMX:EMX). He was a Co-Founder and CEO of The Big Network, a family-oriented online entertainment and community hub. Sellers also co-founded Archetype Interactive, a company that created the first graphical, web-based multi-player game. After its acquisition he worked as Director of Business Affairs for the 3DO Company (NASD:THDO). Before going into business, Sellers served as a Political Officer for the US State Department for seven years, with postings in Nigeria, Austria, the Middle East and Washington, DC. Sellers holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelors Degree in Cultural Anthropology from Stanford University.
Dr. Sandeep Chatterjee is in charge of SourceTraces engineering and platform development. A seasoned technology expert and business professional, Chatterjee has over a decade of contributions as a thought leader, technologist, consultant, entrepreneur, and author. Chatterjee has also consulted with for Fortune-100 companies, such as Hewlett-Packard, as well as major not-for-profit organizations, such as ACCION International. Chatterjee is co-author of Developing Enterprise Web Services: An Architect's Guide, a book by Prentice Hall, as well as a columnist for mobile and enterprise software systems for a number of leading IT magazines. Previously, Chatterjee was part of the Expert Group that specified the worldwide standard for mobile Web services. He also served as the lead and chief architect of Hewlett-Packard's Web Services Mediation Platform. Chatterjee earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where his research in networked client architectures and systems was selected as one of the top thirty-five inventions in the thirty-five year history of MIT's Laboratory for Computer Science, and his invention is showcased in a time capsule at the Museum of Science in Boston, Massachusetts.
